Sydney-based originals trio Necko channel the spirit of 1970s arena rock: atmosphere, undeniable hooks, and soaring guitar solos.
The three boys glide from a whisper to a roar with Alek Necko’s delicate falsetto and vintage wail, Reno Torrisi’s explosive drumming, and Alex Damon’s dextrous bass and keys.
Their recent EP, Necko II, dropped in May and debuted at #17 on the ARIA Australian Albums chart, #8 on the Australian Physical Albums chart, and #35 on the Worldwide Physical Albums chart.
The band have been featured in Rolling Stone, Classic Rock and ROCKS magazines.
Necko’s first single from the new EP, You’ve Got What I Want, landed in January and peaked at #6 on the Australian iTunes chart and #2 on the respective Rock chart.
